Levow says instead of heading to the big ice cream chains this summer, get your sweet tooth fix at one of the many unique ice cream shops in the region. Here are four places in Montgomery County that you will want to visit this summer. 

Petrucci’s 

Located at 670 N. Henderson Rd. in King of Prussia, Petrucci’s specializes in flavorful treats like cappuccino Italian ice, Cinnabon ice cream, and Orange Splash, a combination of orange sherbet and orange juice. 

Scoops 

Located at 515 Fayette St. in Conshohocken, Scoops is perfect for dog lovers. The family-owned business has ice cream treats for both you and your best furry friend. 

Surreal Creamery 

Located at 1039 West Lancaster Ave. in Bryn Mawr, Surreal Creamery can cover all tastebuds whether you just want a simple cone or one of their signature mason jar creations. 

1-900-ICE-CREAM 

Located at 18 Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore, 1-900-ICE CREAM is known for its custom flavors developed in its factory in Kensington. They offer up to six new flavors each week.
