Bucks County Pottery Artist Creates Amazing Pieces for Customers Near and Far
An artist in Bucks County is bringing functional pieces of pottery to a local audience as she pursues her passion.
Margot’s Pottery, owned and operated by a Bucks County resident, is a one-woman operation creating unique pieces by hand. Using a wheel throw and a “hot cone 6 electric kiln,” the artist offers bowls, lidded pots, serving dishes, vases, and more.
“I use carving and/or alterations on my pieces to enhance surface design and balance form,” the artist’s official page read. “My pottery is food-safe and lead-free.”
Margot’s pottery has been featured in the Artists of Yardley Fine Craft Shows, the Doylestown Arts & Craft Festival, and the Haverford Guild Show. She was an award winner at the New Hope Arts and Craft Show.
“To connect my pottery addiction to support of animal welfare, proceeds go to animal rescues/shelters and support groups, and other worthwhile causes.”
