Chester County-based Boomi is eyeing a new space in King of Prussia.

One of the most successful start-ups in the area, Boomi’s CEO Steve Lucas is looking to expand internationally and is confident that the company can soon generate $1 billion in revenue from its new location.

The company provides cloud software to Dropbox, Moderna, various universities, and Comcast’s Sky, according to Ryan Mulligan’s coverage in the Philadelphia Business Journal.

The current Boomi office in Chesterbrook occupies 40,000 square feet of space.

The tech company’s principals hope to expand in an era when much of its industry is contracting. They’re currently hunting laid-off workers from other tech companies, including its top competitor, Mulesoft. Hundreds of Mulesoft’s former employees have since applied for 200 open positions.

The long-term vision is bold: Lucas told the Philadelphia Business Journal that Boomi is on track to make over $500 million in revenue this year.
