Pottstown Visiting Nurse Is in Line for National Care Giving Award
Jermaine Cureton, a Pottstown caregiver for Visiting Angels, is one of ten nationwide semifinalists for the organization’s National Caregiver of the Year award. The Daily Local News carried the MediaNewsgroup-supplied story.
The industry honor recognizes caregivers for “overall contribution and commitment to delivering quality care to the clients and families they serve, as well as how they embody the company’s compassionate values,” according to a franchisor source.
Cureton was selected from among 600 nominees nationwide.
He joined Visiting Angels of Pottstown nearly eight years ago and has since logged 17,000 hours working with clients.
“Jermaine is very charismatic and connects so well with clients,” said Alycia Wertman, Visiting Angels of Pottstown franchise owner.
“He loves what he does, and it shows.”
“Everyone in our office voted to nominate Jermaine for Caregiver of the Year. He is so deserving, he provides a great service to our community, positively impacts lives, and makes a difference in the lives of his clients and their families,” she concluded.
The Caregiver of the Year winner will be announced on June 27. The grand prize winner receives $5,000.
