A Villanova student is walking away with a large sum of money after a successful night on the iconic game show Wheel of Fortune.

Contestant Malia is from Honolulu but studying International Business and Marketing with a minor in finances at the Montgomery County university.

Malia was the underdog of the night.

She did not begin on a strong note but eventually made a major comeback, reported Brittany Vincent for the U.S. Sun. When she correctly answered solved a puzzle with “High Point of the Year,” her earnings spiked to $25,850.

The excited student was overwhelmed with joy and full of tears.

Host Pat Sajak kidded her about the waterworks.

“I’m gonna cry!” Malia quivered.

Sajak eventually put his arm around her shoulder and pleaded, “Don’t cry! Before you cry, pick a category, and then you just bawl your eyes out.”

Malia went on to play a bonus puzzle at the end that she was unable to solve.

Luckily, the ecstatically emotional student was still able to walk away with her winnings.
