Tucker Carlson’s final guest before he was let go by FOX News was Tyler Morrell, the Delco delivery driver for Cocco’s Pizza. Morrell became an instant hero when he tripped a stolen-car suspect fleeing police in Middletown, Delaware County, writes Michael Tanenbaum for Philly Voice.
The April 16 incident was captured by a now-viral residential-door video camera.
Morrell was making a pizza delivery when the driver of a stolen Kia crashed it nearby, exited the car, and took off. The quick-thinking Morrell deftly tripped the suspect, who was easily apprehended by police, with no apparent harm to the pie he was holding.
Tucker Carlson’s final broadcast on FOX News (though he didn’t know it at the time), was the April 21 edition of Tucker Carlson Tonight.
Carlson invited Morrell on to his show to talk about the incident.
Morrell brought a few slices of Cocco’s Pizza with him to share.
In the ensuing days, FOX News announced it has separated from Carlson, 53, whose been a popular personality and influencer for the network since 2016.
