Philadelphia’s Ellen Yin Is One of 25 Top Women in Foodservice and Hospitality

Ellen Yin, who owns and operates several restaurants in Philadelphia as part of High Street Hospitality Group, is one of the top 25 women in foodservice and hospitality, according to a recently released list from the Total Food Service.

Yin has more than 25 years’ experience in the foodservice and hospitality industry. The restaurants on her impressive list of spots she owns and operates in Philadelphia include:

  • Fork
  • High Street Philly
  • a.kitchen & bar
  • High Street Hoagies

All have received high ratings from the press.

She was nominated for a James Beard Award for Outstanding Restaurateur in 2018, 2019, and 2022.

She is a holder of an MBA from the Wharton School of Business and is also involved in many community organizations, including the Philadelphia Award, Delaware River Waterfront Corporation, and Arden Theatre Company.

Yin also helped found Sisterly Love Collective. The nonprofit that aims to elevate the voices of women in the food and beverage industry.
