Malvern Bank to Sponsor ‘Building Impact and How to Create Change’ Seminar
As a supporter of Chester County, Malvern Bank will be sponsoring a free interactive seminar presented by the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce (ERCC). This seminar is designed to bring together for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations in order to build impact and create change in their local communities.
The seminar, “In the Know 2.0: Building Impact and How to Create Change,” also sponsored by HUB International, will be held on Friday, March 31, 2023, from 8 AM to 10 AM in the PARC Building, 1 Scouting Way in Exton.
To learn more about the Exton Region Chamber of Commerce visit Exton Region Chamber of Commerce. Registration for the seminar is requested and can be done by visiting the Exton Region Chamber’s homepage.
The seminar will feature a videotaped TED Talk by Kate Krukiel, who has worked closely with international organizations for more than a decade developing partnerships that benefit companies, nonprofits, and their communities.
“With more than $400 billion spent on corporate giving in the United States alone, much of that charitable effort isn’t hitting critical needs and funding is misspent,” said Krukiel. “When organizations align giving to their mission and begin treating their charitable giving with the same rigor as their other business processes, we will be able to solve some of our biggest societal needs and challenges.”
Krukiel’s short video presentation will be followed by roundtable discussions among ERCC members and guests.
“This seminar is a great way for corporate donors to learn how they can achieve their business goals while maximizing the community impact of their giving,” said Anthony C. Weagley, President and CEO of Malvern Bank and President of its charitable arm, the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation.
“This ‘In the Know 2.0: Building Impact’ event helps kick off the ERCC’s revamped Nonprofit Council,” said Laurie Ryan, President of the ERCC. “The Nonprofit Council is now known as the Community Partnership Council, underscoring the importance of collaboration in solving our community’s challenges.”
