Gwynedd Mercy University to Host 16th Annual Autism Conference

Gwynedd Mercy University will be hosting its 16th Annual Autism Conference on April 1, organized by the college’s Autism Institute. GMercyU’s Autism Institute is dedicated to assisting the community in identifying and providing for its needs.

The Autism Conference at the college’s Sumneytown Pike campus in Gwynedd Valley will consist of approximately 30 workshops, each 90 minutes. Leading professionals in the area will present a wide variety of professional topics in each workshop.

The event is open to professionals, preparing professionals, and family members. Admission is free and offers ACT 48 credits.

The university will also be presenting an alumni VIP luncheon for the first 100 GMercyU alumni to register.

The mission of the Autism Institute at Gwynedd Mercy University is to support scientifically research-based best practices for individuals with autism.

The Institute strives to identify needs, seek appropriate funding and structure, and provide services that utilize the University’s resources to contribute to the development and educational progress of persons on the autism spectrum.
