Utility Person — Coatesville
This position will perform a variety of tasks in supervising and participating in the locating, laying, repairing, and extending of underground water mains and distribution pipes. This position’s responsibilities include setting up barricades and safety lights around work sites, breaking up asphalt and concrete, guiding pipe sections, valves, and fittings into position, and operating valves and fire hydrants.
The ideal candidate should have a GED with vocational experience in mechanical abilities sufficient to understand the operation of pumps, valves, motors and other mechanical equipment. Candidates should have working knowledge of distribution/collection systems, and a DEP Class E distribution license is preferred.

Utility Person — Norristown
This position will perform a variety of tasks in supervising and participating in the locating, laying, repairing, and extending of underground water mains and distribution pipes. This position’s responsibilities include manual digging up valve boxes and curb boxes using shovel and digging bar, tapping into pressurized water mains, and installing repair clamps onto pressurized water mains and service lines.
The ideal candidate should have a GED with a DEP Class E distribution license preferred. Candidates must be able to read, understand, and follow instructions, in addition to safety rules, maps, diagrams. Additionally, candidates should be capable of lifting and/or carrying 50 lbs, and use arithmetic or shop geometry to figure amounts of material needed, dimensions to be followed, and cost of materials.

Maintenance and Relief Operator — Norristown
This position will perform and/or assist with repairs to and maintenance of equipment and facilities, perform calibration and routine maintenance of control systems, and receive and distribute chemicals in accord with established company, state, and/or federal safety standards and/or practices.
The ideal candidate will have a GED with at least four years experience as a maintenance mechanic. Candidates should have working knowledge of hydraulic, electrical, computer theories, applications, and hardware configurations. Additionally, candidates should have a thorough understanding of the distribution system network and knowledge of company policies, procedures, and safety practices.
