A high school in Bucks County has announced the finishing of two of its sports areas, with two others on their way to being completed.

Neshaminy High School, located at 2001 Old Lincoln Highway in Langhorne, recently had two sports areas complete after months of building and construction.

The school’s baseball and softball teams will now have fields for practices and games.

“Neshaminy High School fields project update: The baseball and softball fields are complete and hosting games!” a Neshaminy School District representative posted online.

The school’s stadium, multi-purpose field, and tennis courts are in currently in progress to be finished in the near future.

“Neshamimy is an Indian name, a reminder of the Lenape Indians who lived along the Neshaminy Creek, which runs through the center of the District. The area grew rapidly in the 1950’s as one of the nation’s first modern planned suburbs, Levittown, was constructed at the southeastern portion of the District, replacing the farmland there.”
