An Upper Merion Area High School junior is a rising star in the varsity football world. Cyrus Palladino started playing football in seventh grade and has since earned many accolades and competed across the country.

He competed at Kohl’s Eastern Winter Showcase in December, then got invited to the Future Stars Event, writes Ed Morlock for PA Prep Live.

The event took place in Bradenton, Florida.

A kicker for the Upper Merion Area High School Vikings, he competed against hundreds of others.

Despite the competition, Palladino soared to the top 15 percent in kickoffs and field goals. In addition to earning the top spot at the event, he’s also a two-time second-team All-Pioneer Athletic Conference selection.

Nationally, he’s is ranked 76 in the class of 2024.

Palladino has high hopes for this season. He wants to compete in a spring showcase and to be able to hit from 60 yards.
