Health Advocate, a proponent and navigator for patient care, has earned a 2023 all-star award from the National Customer Service Association (NCSA). MyChesco covered the Plymouth Meeting accolade from the Orlando organization.

NCSA all-stars must “… consistently go above and beyond to provide excellent service to their customers, while living their organization’s mission and values.”

The Montgomery County care organization was recognized for a combination of experience, innovation, and compassionate support.

Jeff Cordell, President and CEO, Health Advocate, said: “Since 2001, [we have] prioritized supporting our members as they navigate the complexities of healthcare and take steps to improve their health and well-being.

“This award further demonstrates how our team consistently strives to maintain the highest standard of excellence in order to help our members when they need it most.”

Health Advocate initiatives that contributed to the honor include:

  • Provision of immediate interpretive services to connect Spanish-speaking patients via personal health advocates
  • Updated technology for better advocate/patient pairings

Diane Crutcher, NCSA vice president of programs, commented on the rigors that nominated organizations must navigate to earn the honor. “The criteria for winning these awards are intentionally challenging by design,” she said.

More on this local distinction is at MyChesco.
