The Friends Experience at King of Prussia is an all-encompassing experience for fans.

The Friends Experience — an up-close-and-personal opportunity for the NBC sitcom’s devoted fans — opened Feb. 10 at the King of Prussia Mall. Laura Swartz filed her reaction in Philadelphia Magazine.

The exhibit uses faithfully recreated sets, props, and costumes to enable fans to feel as if they’re just about to bump into Chandler, Ross, Rachel, Joey, or Phoebe

The first interactive opportunity attendees encounter is the orange couch and fountain from the show’s opening credit sequence.

Knowing that visitors will want shots of them reclining here, the onsite staff is especially eager for phone hand-offs to capture the moment.

From there, locals can try to “pivot” Ross’ couch up the building’s stairs, model Chandler’s entire wardrobe in one jumbled ensemble, and wander Rachel and Monica’s kitchen. Its level of recreated detail is evident even on the items stocking the shelves.

The final recreated set is Central Perk, packed with insider details.

The Friends Experience also has a gift shop whose merch is available to shoppers without tickets.

More on The Friends Experience — hours, prices, and even a parking hint — is at Philadelphia Magazine.
