Nonprofit Opens Restaurant Designed for Staff and Diners with Special Needs
The Jan. 21 ribbon-cutting of the So Much to Give Inclusive Café in Cedars (near Skippack) marked a complete redefinition of meeting special needs in Montgomery County.
The restaurant is an initiative of Pillars of Light & Love, a Collegeville nonprofit dedicated to “stress and life management for ages five to adult.”
So Much to Give is not only staffed by employees with special needs, but it also welcomes patrons who may simply need a calm, friendly setting for a meal.
Its mission statement is to “…empower all people, including those with disabilities and their families, to have equal opportunities to eat, dine, socialize, volunteer, and learn.”
The opening included tours and the opportunity to meet the restaurant’s staff, volunteers, and leaders. A celebrity was also on hand, Miss Pennsylvania 2022, Allison Kratz.
The So Much to Give Inclusive Cafe, located at 3401 W. Skippack Pike, now operates Wed. through Sun., 4–8 PM. Weekend breakfast hours are 10 AM to 3 PM.
Preview diners have already identified the So Much to Give Inclusive Café as being a “…heartwarming and very special place to enjoy in the community” with an “electrifying energy.”
Reservations can be made at the So Much to Give Inclusive Café site at Table Agent.

Food-service businesses staffed by special-needs workers are certainly to be celebrated for the effort to reach this loyal and dedicated crew of employees
(as this report shows); however, So Much to Give goes one better by also catering to unique diners as well.
