Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Program Manager and Upward Bound Project Director position.

The Program Manager and Upward Bound Project Director oversees all aspects of the Upward Bound Student Success Initiative, while providing visionary leadership and management at both campuses and at offsite educational locations.

This position is full-time and requires travel between all campuses and off-site locations. The primary office location will be the Pottstown campus. This is temporary and pay is contingent upon grant funding.

The selected candidate must obtain PA Child Abuse, PA State Police, and FBI Fingerprinting
clearances prior to starting.

The ideal person for this position will possess the following experience and skills:

Essential Knowledge and Skills

Education/Training/Work Experience:

• A Master’s degree in Social Service, educational field, higher education administration or College Student Personnel Experience
• Three years of student personnel experience
• Two years of supervisory or managerial experience
• Bilingual experience preferred
• Experience working with diverse populations
• Effective oral and written communication abilities
• Interpersonal skills
• Technologically independent
  • Ability to use Microsoft office and Internet
  • Ability to adapt to course management systems and student information databases
• Prior TRiO experience preferred
• Experience working with first-generation and low-income students preferred
• Knowledgeable of college admissions and financial aid
• Budget management experience preferred
