As more customers go digital, brick-and-mortar banks are closing their doors across the country. This trend is no exception for Wells Fargo’s Lower Providence Branch at 2740 W. Ridge Pike. The location will close Feb. 22 at noon, writes Jeff Ward for WFMZ 69 News.

Luckily, for customers who still want to get that human interaction, the branch on Egypt Road will still be up and running. There’s also another Wells Fargo nearby in Collegeville.

“We continuously evaluate our branch network in light of changing customer needs, the increase in the use of digital banking, market factors, and economic trends,” said Wells Fargo in a statement.

Wells Fargo is one of the top banks in the country. Considered a “Big Four”; it ranks alongside Bank of America, JPMorgan Chase, and Citigroup.
