Looking for the perfect stay-cation activity? Ardmore’s Resort Nails transports clients to the travel destination of their dreams with location-inspired spa packages. The nail salon, which opened its doors Monday, will also be the first in the area to offer press-on services, writes Laura Brzyski for Philadelphia Magazine.

The salon is founded by Philly Native Naeemah Johnson, also the creator of Ardmore’s beauty brand Nbeauty Inc.

“When guests join us at the salon, I want them to feel like they’re on an escape and enjoy this serene space we’ve created with designs and packages inspired by destinations around the globe,” Johnson said.

At Resort Nails, guests can choose from one of four luxury spa packages; Dubai, Bali, Hawaii, and Mykonos. All four include gel mani/pedis, but each package has services tailored to its themed destination.

Bali backpackers are treated with a hot-stone massage, green tea soak, and jasmine rice scrub and mask. Clients who want to fly over to Hawaii will be treated with a floral foot soak, pineapple sugar scrub, and a clay mask.

Single services are also available for booking, as well as waxing and dermaplaning. The press-on bar is a great alternative to acrylics and is less damaging to the nails.
