Houwzer, a Phila.-based real estate agency, sought to find out what standout local properties new home purchasers could call their own on a $500k budget or less. The result of its analysis yielded five possibilities across the region, including two in Montgomery County.
One listing is at 421 East 11th Avenue, Conshohocken.
It’s a four-bedroom, two-bath beauty built in 1945 but that has been lovingly maintained and smartly updated over the years.
The structure sits on a beautiful yard, and its particulars include crown molding, hardwood floors, a living room with a wooden tray ceiling, a finished third floor (great for an office), and a backyard deck.
The Conshohocken locale is a big draw: Easy commuting to Philadelphia is but one advantage of living there, augmented by a lively downtown with fine dining, bars, shopping, and plenty of outdoor recreation.
The other Houwzer gem with a less-than-half-six-figure asking price is 130 Medinah Drive, Blue Bell.
It’s a 1994-built townhome in the gated community onsite at the Blue Bell Country Club.
The three-bedroom, 2.5-bath home has an upscale kitchen, dual living rooms, fireplace, and large yard. Better still, amenities associated with the golf course neighbor — pickleball courts, pool, social events — are available to residents.
The other three highlighted properties on the Houwzer list can be found in the original posting.
