Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the College Services Assistant position. The College Services Assistant is responsible for supporting the administrative and recruitment duties specific to the successful outreach and retention of Montgomery County Community College’s Dual Enrollment and University Center students.

This position will provide information, direction, and answer questions about MCCC to students and the public. This requires maintaining communication with faculty and staff in support of students and providing support to Dual Enrollment and the University Center Partners, within the parameters set by the Partner Agreements.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Education/Training/Work Experience:

  • High School diploma or GED required with 2 years work related experience required OR
  • Associate degree may be preferred
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral

Specialized Knowledge & Skills:

  • Knowledge of specific software or processes
  • Customer service experience
  • Additional Information Required:
  • Ability to multitask
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to use some discretion and judgment
  • Ability to work within a team-oriented setting
