At the 2022 VISTA Millennial Superstar Reception and Celebration Tuesday evening at Penn State Great Valley, Jessica Capistrant, President & CEO of the Phoenixville Regional Chamber of Commerce, identified her mother, wife and her three children as her superstars.

Service is the key to superstardom.

That fact was evident after 300 attendees heard the short speeches of this year’s VISTA Millennial Superstars on Tuesday afternoon, when VISTA Today honored its 2022 Class of VISTA Millennial Superstars at Penn State Great Valley in Malvern.

As part of the program, the 40 VISTA Millennial Superstars – who represent a wide range of industries, including education, medicine, law, nonprofit, agriculture, banking, technology, and more – were asked whom their superstars are.

Many of them identified their coworkers, parents, other family members, and former supervisors who helped to shape them into the people they are today.

Amidst the challenges of the past two years, VISTA Today – in partnership with Penn State Great Valley, Wilmington University, Chester County Hospital, Bentley Systems, Meridian Bank, and Aqua Pennsylvania– was thrilled to celebrate the achievements of Chester County’s next generation of leaders once again.

Upon arrival, guests were able to enjoy food, drinks, and desserts from the Flying Deutschman, Southbound BBQ, Dos Hermanos Tacos, Red Stone Pizza, and Milk + Sugar food trucks.

“The men and women we are honoring this evening symbolize the best of Chester County, present and future,” said Ken Knickerbocker, Publisher of VISTA Today. “Beyond furthering their own careers, the common theme was the honorees are involved and engaged in their community.”

For the third consecutive year, VISTA Today received more than 160 nominations that highlighted the achievements of local millennials who are breaking down walls, shattering expectations, and doing remarkable work in their field or community.

“We see you as bold, courageous, purposeful, passionate, focused on building and nurturing relationships, inclusive, independent, hard workers, engaged, and information age thinkers,” said Knickerbocker.

Three years after launching the VISTA Millennial Superstars initiative, VISTA Today has recognized a total of 120 young professionals from all walks of life and every corner of the county whose work and selflessness ensure a bright future for Chester County.
