Baseball fans in the Philadelphia region have a plethora of ways to enjoy their national pastimes in addition to rooting for the Phillies, including following one Montgomery County league, writes Manning Snyder for The Philadelphia Inquirer.

The Perkiomen Valley Twilight League runs from mid-May to mid-July, with the playoffs taking place from late July through early August.

The “Perky” League, as it is also known, is made up of adult teams from Montgomery County. This year, ten teams will be competing for the league title. The league has players of all ages, and some of them have recently played on high school and college teams.
