Ambler Savings Bank recently donated to the New Hope-Solebury School District’s STEAM Initiative. The funds will boost the education of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in grades K–12.

The donation from the bank, made through the Pennsylvania Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) Program, will help with startup costs to equip a brand-new STEAM lab with educational technologies.

Classes will provide hands-on experience in areas such as manufacturing, engineering, and video production.

“As we push our STEAM initiative to new heights, we will be expanding the technology curriculum to give students hands-on learning opportunities with cutting-edge technologies on a daily basis,” said Richard Curtis, K–12 STEAM Coordinator, New Hope-Solebury School District.

“This donation from Ambler Savings Bank will have an immediate impact within our classrooms, and we’re so honored they are the first to help our tech dreams become a reality,” he concluded.

This is New Hope-Solebury’s inaugural year as a recipient organization in the state program. Every year educational organizations and corporations must apply and be accepted into the program.
