Join the Montgomery County Community College Lively Arts Series for its Young Arts Explorers and Family Series for great performances and activities for both children and adults right in your own backyard.

The fun kicks off with ‘Jeff Boyer’s Bubble Trouble,’ Saturday, March 26, at 11 a.m. at Steel River Playhouse, 245 E. High St., Pottstown. Boyer takes bubbles to the max in this one-man bubble extravaganza. It is the craziest, most creative bubble show around.

Boyer juggles bubbles, sculpts and builds with bubbles, makes fog-filled bubbles and more. Mixing comedy, music and interactive bubble-magic, he engages and delights audiences of all ages.

“Pottstown has a growing, vibrant arts scene,” said Brent Woods, Senior Director of Cultural Affairs.  “‘Jeff Boyer’s Bubble Trouble’ is a wonderful show that’s great for the whole family. It’s a great opportunity for parents and grandparents to take their children out on a Saturday morning for a show and some fun downtown.”

Then through the use of live music, dance, and storytelling, “Trekking Mexico,” immerses audiences into the magical realism present in Mexican culture, igniting the imagination and leaving you with an enhanced awareness of our global community.

The show begins Saturday, April 2, at 11 a.m., in the Eisenhower Middle School Auditorium, 1601 Markley St., Norristown.

“Eisenhower Middle School is one of our adopted schools,” said Woods. “This program is an incredible experience showcasing the beautiful culture, through music and dance, of the Mexican people. It’s a performance you won’t want to miss.”

Tickets to both “Jeff Boyer’s Bubble Trouble” and “Trekking Mexico” are open to the community and are on sale now.

“Through these wonderful performances and activities, families across our region will have plenty of fun things to see and do together,” said Woods. “Take the kids out for the day and share an incredible experience you won’t forget.”
