The following positions at the Arc are available:

AWC HR Administrative Assistant Full-Time

The person in this position performs a variety of administrative duties with the Agency With Choice program, including working closely with the HR Department in the administration of worker’s compensation and in-service training for Support Service Professionals.

Duties include tracking and processing all clearances for AWC Support Service Professionals, creating personal files, sending out AWC offer and/or rejection letters, input new hire information into databases, prepare instructional and disciplinary documents for Support Service Professionals when performance issues are being addressed, prepare the termination of employment letters, generate payroll status forms, maintain filing for all personnel and clearance files, assist with updates of personal policies and procedures, maintain new hire packets, assist with the development of training modules and materials, research information to update and improve HR practices for the AWC program.

Early Intervention Occupational Therapist Part Time

The person in this position provides direct occupational therapy services to children/families on assigned caseloads. They will function as a member of the child’s multidisciplinary team by collaborating with families/caregivers, supports coordinators, and other professionals to develop and implement the IFSP/IEP. 

This position requires a  current Pennsylvania Occupational Therapist License,  a Master’s degree or equivalent, extensive knowledge in infant/toddler development, flexibility in regard to working schedule, good computer knowledge, current and valid driver’s license and driving record as per The Arc’s Safety Policies and Procedures, physician’s certification of good health, required background checks and clearance.

Experience with home-based and preschool early intervention preferred.

Will consider COTA/L’s with pediatric experience.

 Preschool Teacher

The person in this position is responsible for assessing, developing, and implementing IEP goals. Designed activities will promote development in cognitive, language, fine motor, gross motor, social/emotional and self-help areas.

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, certification in either Special Education or Early Childhood Education, extensive knowledge of child development, child abuse, PA criminal, FBI clearance and NSORE, physician’s certificate of good health, ability to life and position children up to a weight of 50 pounds, two years of experience working with young children.

Experience working with children with special needs preferred.
