The Communications Coordinator generates content for our client’s social media platforms and websites with the goal of improving their SEO performance and enhancing their digital presence.

Under leadership supervision, and in collaboration with stakeholders, this position enacts the use of several communication channels for our clients and stays on top of new trends and advances in digital communications.

  • Manages the design, build, and maintenance process of our client’s social media presence.
  • Ensures our client’s social media presence is across all digital channels.
  • Collaborates with digital and creative team members to create content for the different social media channels and repurposed content for different channels.
  • Manages content distribution to online channels and social media platforms to increase web traffic.
  • Tracks social media influence measurements.
  • Prepares reports to update internal staff on usage statistics, and continuous monitoring and coverage of all sites.
  • Develops content for posting on all designated social media outlets.
  • Researches new blogs and channels for relevance/trend identification.
  • Creates engaging social content to promote priorities across networks (memes, Instagram stories, TikTok videos, Giphy stickers, compelling thumbnails).
  • Creates and publishes engaging content for client websites.
  • Ensures brand consistency throughout all content published for clients.
  • Optimizes content according to SEO.
  • Edits, proofread, and advances different types of content for beMarketing clients as needed.
  • Ensures brand consistency throughout all content published for clients.
  • Ensures compliance with the law (e.g. copyright and data protection).
  • Keeps current with industry best practices and monitors content activities of other websites.
  • Performs all tasks and duties in an efficient and safe manner.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned or as necessary. Remains flexible and adaptable in work schedules and work assignments as defined by departmental and organizational needs.
  • Represents beMarketing in a manner that conveys professionalism, confidentiality, courtesy, fairness, personal integrity, and respect for others.

Qualifications

Education And/or Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, New Media or relevant field
  • Experience using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube, etc.)
  • Experience writing in long-form and short-form
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Excellent time management & planning skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • In-depth knowledge of social media platforms and their users (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, etc.)
  • Savvy and knowledgeable about current social media trends and innovations
  • Solid understanding of digital content, communication and marketing principles
  • Familiarity with web and social media analytics (Omniture, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, etc.)
  • Basic videographer/camera skills
