This year, your usual holiday vacation plans might be different, so why not stay local? Shopping and dining for the holidays? We’ve got just the place for you to ESCAPE your everyday routine and enjoy some holiday fun.

So far, you’ve seen Valley Forge Historical National Park, hiked the trails and seen the log cabins and encampments, tried all the great restaurants in and around Valley Forge and King of Prussia Mall, and now you need to lay your weary frame down for the night.

You have just one question—where to stay?

Don’t worry, you won’t have to camp out in Washington’s log cabins! Much nicer accommodations await you in the Valley Forge/King of Prussia area.

This guide will lay out the best King of Prussia hotels in the Valley Forge area for your stay in Montgomery County—what’s great for traveling with kids, with a weary partner, or just one night away in an AirBnB…come along for the ride and find all the fun hotels near Valley Forge Park in Montgomery County.

Hotels Closest to Park:

Valley Forge Casino & Resort

The hotel is located just three minutes from the Park’s entrance, with a hotel, 6 restaurants such as a steakhouse, an authentic Asian micro-restaurant, a Dunkin Donuts, and the Italian Market with casual, café-style Italian food. There’s also event space for conferences and a fabulous outdoor pool and lounge area called Valley Beach, featuring a refreshing pool, and actual sandy beach area with games and lounge chairs in the summertime.
The Valley Forge Casino & Resort is located at 1160 First Avenue in King of Prussia.

Sheraton Valley Forge

The Sheraton is a fairly new hotel in King of Prussia about 5 minutes from the Park’s Main Entrance. It’s an elegant hotel with renovated rooms, a fitness center, and is also pet-friendly, if you need to bring Fido. Don’t miss the gorgeous indoor pool for refreshing yourself after your park hike. There’s also a free shuttle to the Park.

The Sheraton Valley Forge is located at 480 North Gulph Road in King of Prussia.

SpringHill Suites

This hotel is located right off Route 422 and Route 23 and is near the Park’s entrance. If you are looking for a cute mid-sized and moderately priced hotel with free breakfast (Breakfast Bags available at Front Desk from 6am-9am) and the cutest little outdoor pool, you’re all set for your vacation to Valley Forge.

SpringHill Suites is located at 875 Mancill Mill Road in King of Prussia.

Hyatt Place

This pet-friendly hotel is a very comfortable place to stay and is about 5 minutes from the park’s entrance. The hotel offers a shuttle, Fitness Center, and an indoor pool (please check with the hotel regarding pool hours/COVID-19 guidelines). Breakfast is offered with a Grab and Go breakfast, as are Bar Services offering a Grab and Go style menu.

Hyatt Place is located at 440 American Avenue in King of Prussia.

Hotels Directly Across From the King of Prussia Mall:

Crowne Plaza

This hotel is directly across from the King of Prussia Mall and is within walking distance to stroll on over and take in some shopping or grab dinner after a day of sightseeing in Montgomery County. I love this hotel—even had my Prom here back in High School (Go SPX!) With renovation guest rooms including Club Level rooms (which offer complimentary continental breakfast and evening reception served in their club lounge), a gorgeous lobby to relax in, a fitness center, and dining at The Forager Restaurant with acclaimed Chef Spaulding, you’ll have a haven to return to each night!

Crowne Plaza – Valley Forge/Liberty Conference Center is located at 260 Mall Boulevard in King of Prussia.

Hyatt House

The Hyatt House is another favorite of mine- in décor and comfort. There’s an indoor pool, outdoor firepit, and it’s within walking distance to the mall. There’s an indoor pool (check availability), fitness center, the H Bar in the gorgeous lobby, and free breakfast. Plus, easy access to the PA Turnpike or Route 76 to head into Philly, or Route 422 to explore the rest of Montgomery County.

Hyatt House Philadelphia/King of Prussia is located at 240 Mall Boulevard in King of Prussia.

DeKalb Pike Hotels Located Minutes Away from the Park

Motel 6

The Motel 6 King of Prussia, PA—Philadelphia is a hidden gem. Free Wi-Fi, pet-friendly, coin laundry, and KIDS STAY FREE. Yep, that’s right. Kids 17 and under stay free when accompanied by a parent, and in the same room as an adult. (please see the website for exact details on the Motel 6 Kids Stay Free program). Plus, Military discounts are available.

With comfy, contemporary rooms, easy access to Route 76 to Philadelphia attractions and just minutes form the KoP Mall and the Park, you’ve got it made in this shade with this fabulously priced hotel.

The Motel 6 King of Prussia, PA—Philadelphia is located at 815 W Dekalb Pike, King of Prussia.


Alloy King of Prussia, a DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton is located North of the King of Prussia Mall on US 202, the Alloy King of Prussia, a DoubleTree Hotel by Hilton features 327 newly renovated luxurious guest rooms, a health club, outdoor heated 3 season pool and outdoor patio (perfect for lounging after shopping at the mall or sightseeing all day) and gift shop to show you where comfort meets fashion in a historic area.

Enjoy the on-site restaurant, Hammer and Fire or enjoy a delicious meal in the comfort of your own room (hell-ooo room service!) Maybe you desire a quick treat or refreshment before bed? Stop by the Market, the fully stocked convenience store in the lobby area.

The Alloy is located at 301 W. Dekalb Pike in King of Prussia.


Hidden Acres Campgrounds in Coatesville

This campground, located about 35 minutes from Valley Forge, offers a camp store, hot showers, playground (with one of the world’s longest original steel sliding boards—they say use at your own risk!), freshwater pond (for catch and release sunnies and bass fishing) and a poolroom. Water and electricity are available per night or water, electricity, and sewer are available per night.

Hidden Acres Campgrounds are located at 103 Hidden Acre Road in Coatesville, PA.

KOA Campgrounds

Philadelphia / West Chester KOA is a seasonal campground along the Brandywine River. They offer deluxe cabins, glamping cabins, tent, and 50 amp RV spaces, tenting, arcade, mini-golf, convenience store, planned activities, modem hookups, and more! This place has it all.  

KOA Campgrounds are located at 1659 Embreeville Road in Coatesville, near Longwood Gardens.
