At Corropolese Bakery and Deli, with locations in Norristown, Royersford, and Audubon, offers the light spongy dough with a slightly crunchy crust that is covered with a layer of sweet tomato sauce topped with a light dusting of Romano cheese.

You can also order additional toppings ranging from pepperoni and cheese to eggplant, among others.

Conshohocken Italian Bakery is a good option if you are looking to offer this popular app at a party.

In addition to making a mouthwatering good pie with a smooth tomato sauce drizzled with olive oil, the eatery will decorate the pie with a logo or message by stenciling it in garlic powder and cheese.

Meanwhile, Carlino’s Market in Ardmore offers a delicious signature tomato pie with fresh basil scattered generously over a sea of chunky tomato sauce that is held in place by a golden crust.

Their version is so good and opulent that it can serve as a stand-alone meal rather than just as an appetizer or snack.
