This mansion at 1494 Treeline in
Malvern is listed for $9,875,000.

This 22,000-square-foot home has 29 rooms, including seven bedrooms and nine full and three half bathrooms. Other highlights include a wine cellar, a movie theater, and even a LEGO room.

The residence is decorated in mahogany and marble and boasts massive closets and six fireplaces.

“This was built like an old, classic colonial revival with absolutely the finest materials,” said listing agent John C. Dubbs Jr. of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Fox & Roach.

The home, however, has a somewhat checkered ownership history.

The mansion is located on 2.4 tranquil acres, surrounded by the expansive and picturesque Valley Creek Preserve,

It was built in 1995, but construction was put on hold before the original owner, Richard Carl Grossman, could finish it.

He pleaded guilty to fraud and money laundering, and the property was put up for auction.

Kenneth Kensey, the second owner, then pleaded guilty to driving under the influence in 2005 and sold his home to its third owner, Raymond Mirra.

Mirra’s ex-wife was sentenced to 18 years in prison in 2015 for killing their autistic son.
