Interested in refreshing your management and leadership skills? Take a weekend class at DeSales University this month, while earning one credit towards an MBA.

Managing and Leading People: A Day to Day Guide

It is 1 Credit offered over 2 weekends. Virtual sessions are held on Zoom.

Participants will learn how to analyze and evaluate personal leadership skills, especially with respect to personnel management and effective communication, and learn how to use influence in the work environment, and how to deal with difficult people, among other skills.

This course is for all individuals who lead and manage teams, projects, and/or direct reports.

Topics will include the latest advice on how to manage change, motivate, delegate, inspire, problem-solve – all the critical skills you need to succeed as a leader and manager. Students will be offered the opportunity to identify specific topics of interest to their needs and concerns prior to the first class meeting.   

The class will be taught by Jody Rennie, a certified Project Management Professional with over 25 years of experience managing technical and manufacturing projects. She specializes in executing diverse projects, building internal and external customer relationships, and facilitating teams.

As an Adjunct Professor for DeSales MBA, Jody teaches courses in Project Management and Supply Chain.

The class is on two Saturdays:

October 9, from 8am – 4pm

October 16, from 8am – 4pm.

Cost for this 2-weekend workshop – $880
