Customers Bank Director of Multicultural Banking Announced as Congreso de Latinos Unidos New Board Chair

Mr. Miguel Alban is a Senior Vice President and Director of Multicultural Banking for Customers Bank and has been welcomed as the new Board Chair at Congreso.

Mr. Alban previously served on their board for 3 years and was the recipient of the “40 Under 40″ award in 2021 by Al Día News.

Mr. Alban also serves as the Honorary Consul of Peru in Philadelphia and Vice President of the Consular Corps Association of Philadelphia.

Mr. Alban earned his Law degree from the University of Piura, Peru. He earned his Master’s degree in International Law from Temple University’s Beasley School of Law and he is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School of Business, Stonier School of Banking.

Prior to Customers Bank, Mr. Miguel Alban served as a Vice President of Multicultural Banking for Bryn Mawr Trust and has also served as Director of Hispanic Banking for Truist Financial, formerly BB&T.

Mr. Alban was the founder of The Hispanic Approach and the Hola Magazines, marketing agencies focused on multicultural markets.

Mr. Alban has been an Adjunct Professor of Spanish at several Philadelphia-area Universities, including Villanova University, Cabrini University, and Immaculata University.

He currently resides in Malvern with his wife, Mary and their three children, Joaquin, Mateo, and Sofia.
