Renovated Fox Barn at Twenty9 in Malvern Brought Back Charm of the Original Barn
After undergoing a $1.3 million transformation, Fox Barn at Twenty9 in Malvern has a completely new look and refreshed concept just in time for summer, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.
“We decided to rebrand from a full-service, two-story restaurant and utilize the space as an event venue with a themed pub specializing in barbecue and other pub-type cuisine,” said Fox Barn partner Patricia Archie.
The makeover opened up the space of the historic building, bringing back the charm of the original barn. The establishment now features an inside/outside bar, a trendy garage door, and roughly 2,000 square feet of deck. The sunset views of Great Valley are stunning.
Patrons can enjoy pillowed seating under the pergolas, tables with umbrellas, and a flower wall.
The food offerings at Fox Barn at Twenty9 include plenty of comfort food: tater tots, smoked chicken quesadillas, and such. Entrees include hickory-smoked pulled pork, fried grouper, and adobo grilled chicken
The house-made desserts include warm ricotta donuts and a decadent bourbon pecan pie with vanilla ice cream.
