The Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation, the charitable arm of Malvern Bank, National Association, has announced its inaugural Charity Polo Match to benefit nonprofits in its service areas of southeastern Pennsylvania, northern New Jersey, and Palm Beach County, Fla.

The Charity Polo Match will be held on Sunday, Aug. 22 at the Brandywine Polo Club in Toughkenamon.

The match begins at 3 PM, but the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation hospitality tent will open at 2 PM to Foundation guests. Hors d’oeuvres will be served from 2-2:30 PM, when a gourmet lunch will be offered.

A number of sponsorship opportunities are available. These opportunities are designed to increase an organization’s visibility through advertising signage, Malvern Bank website recognition, polo program ads, social media posts, and pre-event publicity. Currently, two sponsorships are available:

  • Game Time Package ($2,500): Includes reserved seating for six, logo on welcome display, website recognition, half-page ad in program book, social media posts, and pre-event publicity.
  • 7th Chukker Package ($1,500): Includes reserved seating for four, website recognition, half-page ad in program book, and name on signage.

Individuals, organizations, or companies can purchase tickets for entrance to the polo match and to the Foundation’s hospitality tent for $150 per ticket – or learn more about sponsorship opportunities – by contacting Patricia McLennan at 610-220-7179 or PMcLennan@MyMalvernBank.com.

The Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation was established in 2008 to support programs for housing assistance, local education, not-for-profit medical facilities, not-for-profit community groups, and other charitable causes that contribute to the quality of life in the local community. Since its founding, the Foundation has awarded grants totaling $810,000 to dozens of nonprofits serving tens of thousands of individuals in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, and Florida.

“The inaugural Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation Charity Polo Match is designed to boost interest in, and giving to, the charitable organizations in Malvern Bank’s service areas,” said Anthony C. Weagley, President of the Malvern Federal Charitable Foundation and CEO of Malvern Bank, National Association. “The COVID-19 pandemic negatively impacted many nonprofits around the country, and Malvern Bank is committed to helping these organizations to fulfill their missions of helping, and providing vital services to, our neighbors – especially in these difficult times.”
