Financing the American Dream, hosted by Sue Meitner, president of Centennial Lending Group, showcased downtown Ambler and the many things it has to offer in its most recent episode, writes Kevin Tierney for Around Ambler.

The show was viewed nationwide on CNBC and Bloomberg Television.

On the show, Meitner, who is an Ambler native, visits Sweet Annie’s Candy Shoppe and Bridget’s Steakhouse before heading out to visit several local real estate listings with realtor Nicole Miller-DeSantis.

“I wanted to show you some things that I love about this town,” said Meitner, “the restaurants, the shops, the stores, and the community, but most importantly also the real estate.”

Annie Maloney, the owner of Sweet Annie’s Candy Shoppe, agreed that Ambler is the place to be right now.

“Ambler is kind of going through a whole revival right now,” she said. “You know it was an old factory town and it’s booming now. It’s kind of being reborn.”

Her shop is one of the draws to the area.

“If you are ever in the town of Ambler, you have got to come and get a macaroon from Annie’s candies,” said Meitner.
