Montgomery County Dominates List of Most Expensive Houses Sold in Pennsylvania in 2020

The Philadelphia area is home to a whopping 19 of the most expensive houses sold in Pennsylvania in 2020, with nine of them in Montgomery County, writes Daniel Urie for the Harrisburg Patriot-News.

Gorgeous 6 BR house on Conestoga Road in Wayne.

Priced at $7.3 million, the house on Cheswold Valley Road in Lower Merion Township was the most expensive home sold last year statewide. This 12,417-square-foot property was built in 2011.

Next is the house on Conestoga Road in Radnor Township in second place. This 1929 home sold for $5 million.

The house on Fenimore Lane in Lower Merion Township is in fifth place at $4,400,000, followed by the house on Bryn Tyddyn Drive in Lower Merion Township in sixth place with a $4,200,000 sale price, and the house on Lewis Lane in Whitpain Township coming seventh at $4,100,000.

1432 Mount Pleasant Road in Villanova.

Next is  on Country Club Road in Lower Merion Township in ninth at $3,961,250, followed by 1432 Mount Pleasant Road in tenth at $3,900,000.

The list is rounded off by the house on Muirfield Road in Lower Merion Township in eleventh priced at $3,800,000 and a house on Dodds Lane in Lower Merion Township in twelfth selling for $3,700,000.
