Antique Shop in Harleysville Offers Many Hidden, One-of-a-Kind Gems for Curious Hunters
The Barn Attic, an antique shop opened in a 150-year-old barn in Harleysville, offers a wide range of interesting items and many hidden gems for curious hunters, according to Atlas Obscura.
The shop started out as The Barn Auction, a joint venture between daughter and father duo, Mary Lou Richards and Marvin Knechel. Then in the early 1970s, Richards started building the antique shop that soon grew into a four-story wonder visited by people from all around the globe.
The Barn Attic stands out among the many other vintage and antique shops thanks to its many unique and one-of-a-kind standout items that cannot be found in the range of usual offerings in similar shops.
Additionally, the space offers a rarely paralleled variety of items, from furniture to finger puppets to jumpsuits and so much more.
However despite the volume of items, they are all meticulously organized. Also, the employees are always there to lend a helping hand and point customers towards some curious items or help them find a specific object they are interested in.
