46 New Positive Cases of COVID-19 Reported in Montgomery County, No New Deaths
As of Tuesday Sept 29, Montgomery County reported 46 new positive cases of COVID-19, according to the county’s COVID-19 website.
The county reported 259 new coronavirus infections over the previous seven days, and 518 new cases over the last two weeks, 82 fewer cases than were reported during the previous 14-day period.
Montgomery County’s 14-day count trend has begun to decrease, and with no new deaths, Montco’s COVID-19 death toll remains at 832 individuals.
The 46 new positive cases reported Tuesday pushed the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Montgomery County to 12,002 countywide.
Of those 12,002 COVID cases, 6,282 are females, 5,645 are males, and 41 are unknown.
The average age of individuals with COVID-19 across the county is 48.74 years-old.

COVID-19 contact tracing efforts are ongoing and are critical to slowing the spread of the disease. The County has partnered with ACLAMO, Family Services of Montgomery County, Montgomery County OIC, and Visiting Nurses Association Community Services to help with contact tracing efforts.
Individuals who have been tested or identified as a direct contact of an individual who has tested positive for COVID-19 and has received a call from any of our community partners may return the call to 610.278.5923 to find out their results or status. All information discussed on the call is strictly confidential and is only used to trace COVID-19 cases.
