The Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board is highlighting Montgomery County’s thriving biking culture in a new video featuring Commissioner Ken Lawrence.

Montgomery County’s thriving biking culture and abundance of trails take center stage in the new Valley Forge Tourism & Convention Board video featuring Vice Chair of the County Commissioners, Ken Lawrence.

The county boasts some of the best biking trails and routes in the region providing a safe, socially distanced outside exercise option.

In addition to highlighting some of them, the initiative showcases the many experiences available both on and off the county’s nearly 100 miles of trails.

The video follows Lawrence as he prepares to ride Schuylkill River Trail and features stunning scenic shots of the county’s vast trail network, along with GoPro and drone footage.

The video also shows how both visitors and residents can explore different towns across the county highlighting their history, dining, adventure, family-friendly attractions, shopping, and hotels, as well as the VFTCB’s #MakeItMontco Hotel Package.

“We know biking is everywhere right now,” said Mike Bowman, President & CEO of the VFTCB, “but Montco does it better because of the size and width of our spacious trails, the lack of density out here in the suburbs, and the fact that they’re all connected to anywhere you want to go throughout the county and the region.”
