Anthology Senior Living Nearing Completion, COVID-19 to Present ‘Biggest Challenge’ in Leasing
Anthology Senior Living community at The Village at Valley Forge in King of Prussia is nearing completion, but CA Ventures is facing an uphill battle in leasing the 192 units at the facility, writes Natalie Kostelni for the Philadelphia Business Journal.
“COVID will be our biggest challenge,” said Janine Dambrosio, Director of Sales Marketing at Anthology Senior Living.
The 255,000-square-foot development is eleven stories high, which makes it the tallest in the Village at Valley Forge.
It has a mix of units, including independent living, personal care, and memory units.
In December, Wolshen Construction held a topping out of the building. The work has continued to progress during the pandemic, but it has still faced some setbacks, including two confirmed coronavirus cases among the workers that shut down the site for cleaning.
However despite the hurdles, the project is expected to be finalized by November.
Dambrosio has been working since February on leasing out the units.
“There has been tons of interest and more than I could ever ask for,” she said.
Still, due to the pandemic, people are hesitant to commit, she added.
