You Can Get Hand Sanitizer In Addition to Booze at Four Local Distilleries
In addition to various spirits, many local distilleries are now also producing and selling – or in some cases giving away – hand sanitizer, writes Jenn Ladd for The Philadelphia Inquirer.
While some are making it in bulk specifically for hospitals, first responders, and large organizations such as USPS, others are also making it for individuals.
Bluebird Distilling in Phoenixville currently only sells hand sanitizer in 2 ½ – and 5-gallon sizes. The distillery also offers rye whiskey, Juniperus gin, and four-grain bourbon.
Meanwhile, Boardroom Spirits in Lansdale is giving away four ounces per person every day from noon to 6 p.m. in its tasting room with personal containers required. The distillery also offers bulk orders. Among Boardroom’s spirit offerings are Boardroom vodka, Northbound spiced rum, and batch cocktails.
Five Saints Distilling has partnered with Crazy Aaron’s Thinking Putty and they are currently prioritizing orders for central services. The spirits it offers for sale include Tuscan-style gin and blood orange liqueur.
Finally, Theobald & Oppenheimer has 1-liter bottles available for pickup at $8. The distillery also sells Faber Liquors flavored vodkas and schnapps and canned mule cocktails.
