Thanks to a man’s random act of kindness, Plymouth Meeting Mall employees and shoppers got to enjoy Girl Scout Cookies for free, according to a staff report from CBS3.

Last weekend, a group of Girl Scout members was selling cookies at the mall when a man walked up and bought all 87 boxes of cookies.

He only took one box for himself, leaving the Girl Scouts with more than 80 boxes of already-paid-for cookies.

The girls walked around the mall and surprised shoppers and mall employees with free cookies.

According to Marie Kovach, everyone was “thankful and dumbfounded at the same time.”

“The girls and adults didn’t know what to do when the man said he would buy them all,” Kovach wrote in a Facebook post. “Then best of all he took one box and the girls got to run around the mall distributing the cookies he bought to those at the mall!”

In the end, it was such an overwhelming act of kindness, she concluded.
