Fort Washington-based Trumark Financial Credit Union opens 24th branch

TruMark Financial Credit Union opened its 24th branch location in the five-county Philadelphia region and the credit union’s fifth branch in Chester County.

Fort Washington-based TruMark Financial Credit Union increased its presence in Chester County by opening a new branch on Morehall Road in East Whiteland.

The East Whiteland branch is the credit union’s 24th overall branch, and fifth in Chester County.

“We are proud to debut this new branch in Chester County and remain committed to providing our members with exceptional products, service, and education to help them reach their financial goals,” Richard F. Stipa, TruMark Financial chief executive officer, said in a press release.

State Representative Kristine C. Howard, D-167th Dist.,  joined in the branch ribbon cutting. She mentioned that her constituents were interested in financial litercy workshops with topics such as budgeting, credit, identity theft and investing, according to the release.

David Campli, president of the Malvern Business & Professional Association, was also on hand for the event.

A grand opening celebration is planned for Saturday, Sept. 28 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the branch.
