Ardmore is making a case for being the culinary capital of Montco with no fewer than five restaurants making the list of 15.

Seven Montco eateries have made the list of 15 new restaurants in the Philadelphia suburbs to try out this summer, writes Ed Williams for Main Line Today.

Topping the list is the southern-style barbecue with pit-worthy brisket, ribs and chicken at ArdmoreQ. Sides, like collard greens, green beans with bacon and gooey mac and cheese, add a homemade touch. All-inclusive combos are perfect for group feasts.

Buena Vista, with locations in Malvern and Wayne, also in Ardmore, promises more of the delicious Michoacan Mexican cuisine we’ve come to expect. Housemade guacamole and chef specials like punta con napales (steak with cactus) and camarones al chipoltle (shrimp with chipotle sauce) served against a vibrant backdrop make this space stand out.
