Four CEOs in Montco among 25 highest-paid in Philadelphia area

The CEOs of four companies headquartered in Montgomery County are among the 25 highest-paid CEOs in the Philadelphia area, writes Kennedy Rose for the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Coming in at number 23 on the list is John Walsh Jr. of UGI with take home pay reaching $7, 446,659.

Right above Walsh at number 22 is Peter Altabef, CEO of Unisys, who took home $7,530,080.

Douglas Yearly Jr., Toll Bros. CEO, took home a healthy $9,965,247, coming in at lucky number 13.

Universal Health Services, based in King of Prussia, is doing everything they can to keep their CEO, Alan Miller in the pink, with an annual salary of $23,588,884, making Miller the second highest paid CEO in the Philadelphia region.

Our neighbors to the south are no slouches at handing out CEO pay either.

The highest-paid CEO in Chester County is Steven Collis of Chesterbrook-based AmerisourceBergen. Collis checked in at No. 9 with $11,514,115 in pay in fiscal year 2018.

Frank Bozich of Berwyn-based Trinseo placed 11th with $10,091,749.

David Zapico, CEO of Berwyn-based Ametek, ranked 20th with $8,762,155 in compensation.

The list is rounded out by Gerald Paul, the CEO of Vishay Intertechnology in Malvern. Paul received $7,106,112 in pay for the last fiscal year.
