Haverford Trust recognized at the 30th FELS Love Our Kids Celebration

Haverford Trust was recognized at the 30th FELS Love Our Kids Celebration for their ongoing and generous support of FELS mission over the last seven years.  Chairman and CEO Joseph McLaughlin, Jr. accepted an award on behalf of Haverford Trust for its outstanding support of early childhood education.

Vice President and Portfolio Manager Seth Horwitz was recognized for his years of exemplary service, dedication and commitment. Haverford Trust works with FELS staff members to help them save for retirement and understand the best practices for doing so. They have also been strong financial supporters of our organization, contributing generously to our development efforts, according to Celebration Co-Chairs Ron Perilstein and Evan Segal.

Founded 40 years ago, Haverford has been committed to supporting nonprofit organizations in their missions to expand education, help children at risk, improve healthcare, and increase access to the arts throughout the Philadelphia region and beyond.

Federation Early Learning Services (FELS) enrolls infants, toddlers, preschool and school age children from diverse economic, religious and racial backgrounds on a year-round basis in both center and school based programs.  With eight locations across the Delaware Valley, FELS serves over 700 children annually.  Built on a foundation of Jewish values and traditions for nearly a century, FELS is a recognized leader, helping families access affordable child care, providing innovative programs for children and consultation services to the early childhood community.
