Elmwood Park Zoo’s 11th annual Beast of a Feast features all-you-can-eat food from over 30 of the area’s top restaurants. Over a dozen breweries and distilleries will be sampling craft beers and spirits. There will be live music performances, feeding sessions with the zoo’s giraffes, unique animal demonstrations, and prize raffles. Open bars are courtesy of Tito’s Handmade Vodka. The event is sponsored by 92.5 XTU.
Over 1100 tickets have been sold to the fundraiser, with last minute sales likely pushing the event to sell out. Beast of a Feast is being held rain or shine. All event proceeds support the operation of the Elmwood Park Zoo,  1661 Harding Blvd. in Norristown, and its many educational programs. This year’s event on June 20 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. is also celebrating the zoo’s 95th anniversary.
