Kona Ice of Montgomery County to host sixth annual national ‘Chill Out’ Day

To relieve taxpayers of the stress associated with meeting the federal deadline, Kona Ice will be hosting its sixth annual National “Chill Out” Day.
With Tax Day right around the corner, many of us are reaching into our pockets to pay-off Uncle Sam. To relieve taxpayers of the stress associated with meeting the federal deadline, Kona Ice will be hosting its sixth annual National “Chill Out” Day.

The island-inspired trucks will be handing out free shaved ice at the following locations —
  • Black Rock Park in Upper Providence Township (for the grand re-opening of the skate park) from 4 – 5 p.m.
  • Spring Valley YMCA (19 W Linfield Road) in Royersford from 3:30 – 4:30 p.m.
  • Greater Plymouth Community Center (2910 Jolly Road) from 4 – 5 p.m.
  • Gateway Shopping Center (125 E Swedesford Road) in Wayne from 12:15 – 1:15 p.m.
  • Eagleville Park (100 Parkland Drive) in Norristown from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
  • Wentz Run Park (1000 Anvil Lane) in Blue Bell from 12:30 – 1:30 p.m.

The event is open to the public and media cameras. Interviews with the owner and staff will be available onsite.
