Roman hired as area director of Aqua Pennsylvania’s Eastern operations

Aqua Pennsylvania announced today that it has hired Terrence Roman as area director of its Eastern Operations, which includes its service areas in Montgomery and Bucks counties.

Roman is responsible for distribution system construction and maintenance operations, which includes the installation and replacement of water mains, service lines, valves, hydrants and all assets involved in transporting water from the company’s water treatment plants to approximately 130,000 customer connections—nearly 400,000 people. He is the central point of contact for municipal and state officials who represent the dozens of municipalities throughout the service area.

Prior to joining Aqua, Roman served as chief operating officer for Penn State University, Abington College, where he was responsible for the daily operations of the 45-acre university campus with more than 4,000 enrolled students. As COO, he provided primary support to the chancellor for all administrative functions and was the primary contact for key functional areas including: facilities and physical plant; emergency and risk management; security and event management; real estate, and environmental services.

Roman graduated from Penn State University with a bachelor of science degree in organizational leadership. A native of Philadelphia, he currently resides in Rydal.
