Seeing that Montgomery County was looking like a “cool” place to expand its reach, UGI Heating, Cooling and Plumbing did just that.

UGI Heating, Cooling & Plumbing offers services that cover residential furnaces, boilers, water heaters, central air conditioning, ductless solutions, water treatment systems and clean air solutions. The company, which is a sister company to UGI Utilities, has been operating for more than 100 years.

“We saw the potential for expansion in the area. We have a great service program and a great reputation with our customers,” said Stacy Lord, general manager, UGI Heating, Cooling and Plumbing, adding the company will be dedicating resources toward growing the customer base and sharing information with potential customers, writes Donna Rovins in The Times Herald.

Although company officials saw the potential of moving into Montgomery County, the expansion needed to be slow and steady.

“We wanted to make sure we were aligned internally, had the right resources to service customers and make sure we were poised internally for growth,” Lord said. “We want to grow as a company, but we don’t want to just set equipment and leave the customer behind. Our goal is to develop a relationship with our customers.”

n addition to HVAC sales and service, residents of Chester and Montgomery counties now have the ability to purchase the UGI Advantage Service Agreement, a comprehensive service contract that offers coverage for both parts and labor for home heating and cooling systems, water heaters, and interior natural gas lines.
