Three local CEOs have been selected to a national list of notable financial executives.

Tim Buckley, CEO of the Vanguard Group; Michael Forman, CEO of FS Investments; and Dennis Glass, CEO of Lincoln Financial Group are among the 100 executives named as The Business Journals’ Influencers: Finance. The list recognizes the financial leaders for having a major impact on business locally and nationally. These 100 executives represent both large, nationally known companies as well as smaller, community based institutions. The group also includes entrepreneurial investors and the financials stewards who work on behalf of businesses nationwide as chief financial officers, according to the Philadelphia Business Journal.

At FS Investments, Forman has overseen multiple major deals in the last eight months, including a merger that doubled the size of the Philadelphia-based investment management firm’s publicly traded fund to $8 billion. Buckley began leading Malvern-based Vanguard at the start of this year, as the world’s largest mutual fund provider looked to grow in China. While under his watch, Vanguard has eliminated trading fees on most ETFs and worked to better market itself to millennials with socially responsible ETF options.

Radnor-based Lincoln Financial started 2018 by announcing a $3.3 billion acquisition. At the time, CEO Glass said buying rival Liberty Life Assurance Co. of Boston would complement Lincoln.
